Grassland Grants
Healthy farms depend on healthy land. Across the Midwest, native grasslands—prairies, savannas, and meadows—have largely disappeared, taking with them the deep-rooted systems that build soil, hold water, and withstand drought. Without them, farms become more vulnerable to weather extremes, rising costs, and long-term decline.
Prairie Gold Foundation is working to restore that resilience. We provide grants to farmers to establish and care for native grasslands—rebuilding soil health, improving water retention, and strengthening the land so these farms can continue producing food for hunger relief for generations.
Every contribution helps bring these landscapes back to life and ensures the farms behind our food system can endure and give back long into the future.
Help us invest in resilient land.
